Of course forecast models vary for June 4-10 with the GFS operational most dramatic (as always) indicating a cresting upper ridge over Ukraine promoting dry and hot weather. Other models are not nearly as prominent with that upper ridge preferring a flatter ridge pattern with most anomalous warmth across Southern Europe. Southwest Europe is more confidently forecast wetter than normal during the period. During week 3 and 4 ahead the wet pattern is likely to continue across Southern Europe tapering to a dry pattern in Eastern Europe June 11-17 (including Western Russia) and more so Northern Europe June 18-24.
