A drought condition is stretched across crop areas of Southwest Australia and widening drought is notable in east-central Australia with possible expansion toward important east and southeast continent crop areas. The week 2-4 precipitation anomaly forecast indicates a transitional weather pattern but without much beneficial rainfall. Most of the continent is very dry into early August with some marginal rainfall indicated far southeast sections of the continent later this month expanding along the East Coast into early August. The drought condition across the Australian south and southwest coast strengthens into August while the east-central drought area expands into important crop areas of interior southeast Australia.
