Soybean weekly exports were down 140,000 MMT from the previous week. And cumulative soybean exports are down 0.4% from a year ago but this is just ten weeks into the international marketing year. USDA projects total global soybean exports to be up 10% from a year ago. USDA’s December projection was raised 0.1% from the previous month.
Corn weekly exports were up 238,000 MMT from the previous week. But cumulative corn exports are down 5.9% from a year ago. USDA projects total global corn exports to be down 5.9% from a year ago. USDA’s December projection was down 0.6% from the previous month. US FGIS monthly inspections have grossly underestimated final official Census exports.
Wheat weekly exports were up 385,000 MMT from the previous week. Bad weather in Russia’s Black Sea ports is delaying shipments. But cumulative wheat exports are up from a year ago. USDA projects total global wheat exports to be up 1.8% from a year ago. USDA’s December projection was raised 1.1% from the previous month.
