Discussion: A dry pattern affects the central and southern Plains most of the next 10 days while the northern Plains is snowy. In the 11-15 day forecast models agree on a Western U.S. upper trough enabling wet weather across the drought area in the 11-15 day period. The model trend including persistence favors the wetter pattern affecting areas farther south including Texas while the southwest Plains gain only marginal relief.
