Last week a large mass of cooler than normal temperatures hovered across west and north portions of Russia and that cool air mass is settling south into Ukraine this week and likely to expand eastward across the Black Sea region later this week into next. The cool air arrival is accompanied by showers heaviest east of the Black Sea. Wet weather east of the Black Sea is likely to continue in the 6-10 day period while Ukraine trends dry. In the extended-range beyond the 10 day time frame the cool temperatures abate but showers may return.
