Comment: Retreating cold in the Northeast as milder Pacific air works across the U.S. which also warms the Great Plains into the Southwest U.S. The southern half of the U.S. is drier than normal. The coastal Southeast may be wetter than indicated. More snow in the Northwest with an attendant adhering cold regime although the chill is less excessive.
Comment: MJO (crossing tropical Atlantic) favors expanding northern cold Thanksgiving week while the South remains warm.
