Last week the East was chilly while the Great Plains was warm and much of the nation drier than normal.
Comment: Widening cold weather across the U.S. and coupled with vast increase in snow cover the cold is impressive especially across northern states. Most of the week’s precipitation is snow across the Southwest U.S., western Texas and the Mid-Atlantic.
Comment: Trending colder with a wintery storm track in the Interior Southeast to Mid-Atlantic.
