In the 11-15 day period snow cover which expands in the 6-10 day period enables a cool outbreak into Texas while the West and East Coast on either side of that cooler regime are warm.
Days 16-20 commentary: A warm pattern except marginal cold New England.
Days 1-15 U.S. precipitation commentary: A stretch of snow is likely over the next 7-10 days from the Midwest to the Northeast eroding with a warmer pattern by days 11-15. In the Great Plains, however below precipitation is expected the next 15 days.
