The week 3 and 4 outlook call for a vigorous storm track into Western Europe. Down wind the wet pattern a warmer than normal pattern dominates much of Europe and Western Russia. The previous cold and snow effect of -NAO across Europe dissipates.
Comment: The forecast trend is a little wetter across previously dry (and hot) Argentina. Anomalous heat continues to affect central Argentina. A cold pattern across the Northeast U.S. into Mid-December is forecast to retreat into Canada and expand westward through the second half of the month.
Climate Impact Company updates the monthly ENSO outlook. La Nina is here for late 2017. However, the episode is weak and short-lived. Neutral ENSO is likely by quarter 2 of 2018.
